A move in 2002 to 145 Palisade St. in Dobbs Ferry, NY, gave us a chance to design an exciting space for Hot Mud Studio. A large curved wall defined the entrance and separated the space shared with Ditto!, a design and duplication company owned by my husband and oldest son. It also hid the kitchen and kiln areas. I quickly found myself imagining a mosaic river flowing down the top of this wall. Collecting pieces for it is easy when you have a pottery studio. I completed this project in August of 2002 with the help of Dillon Lundeen Goldschlag.
